23 November 2017 Miramar Avenue phase 1 proposals approved by Councillors

Councillors on the City Strategy Committee approved the proposals for phase 1 of Miramar Avenue.

The behind-the-scenes work - which includes detailed design, preparing construction drawings, and teeing up contractors who are in high demand - all takes time. We expect construction to start in 2019.

Miramar Avenue phase 2

We will continue to discuss and progress this with Enterprise Miramar Peninsula and the community, but the project is unlikely to proceed in the next few years. If and when funding becomes available, there will be another opportunity to provide feedback before Councillors make any decisions.
