This option uses the route up Hobart Street, between Kedah Street and Wexford Road. The one-way bike lanes (kerbside or traffic-side) would improve safety for people on bikes, and could encourage less-confident riders to use the route. Parking would have to be removed from one side of the street for this option, unlike Options B and C.

The one-way bike lanes (kerbside or traffic-side) would improve safety for people on bikes, and could encourage less-confident riders to use the route. Trees may have to be removed and the footpath narrowed for this option, unlike Options A and C.
This option uses a route with less traffic and lower speeds, reducing crash risk and severity. The alternative route up Kauri Street and Wexford Road is different from Options A and B. This option would cost less than options on the Hobart Street route.
